End of Project Evaluation Report - unfpa
The current report presents an external end of project evaluation of the “Enhance institutional and community level emergency preparedness and response for reproductive health” project (hereinafter the project). The project, which took place in Gaza, was implemented in the period from 20 March 2015 until 30 September 2016. All project’s activities were done on time, and, therefore, UNFPA has contracted Dr. Nahed Eid – an independent consulting expert – to conduct and external evaluation for the project.
Project evaluation is a systematic and objective assessment of an ongoing or completed project. The aim is to determine the relevance and level of achievement of project objectives, development effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Evaluations also feed lessons learned and recommendations into the decision-making process of the project stakeholders, including donors and national partners. Evaluation is also an important part of the UNFPA’s accountability to its donors and potential stakeholders.
